RG Scrubber

Appropriate Process Technologies APT design and manufacture a complete range of RG Scrubbing plants to cater for the processing of various minerals, primarily using gravity recovery methods. These plants are modular with ease of installation/efficient recovery/low & easy maintenance/chemical free process being some of the advantages.

What is an RG Scrubber?

Designed and tested in the harsh clay soils of Africa, it is a robust, low maintenance scrubber. Other scrubbers, designed in Europe and America cannot cope with the high clay content of Africa and South America.

Scrubber Drum Operation

The RG scrubber is an autogenous rotating drum scrubber, utilising pebbles and rocks within the feed source to fracture and disintegrate clays, agglomerates and soft oxides. Disintegrated material is homogeneously slurried within the drum, whilst the autogenous load is retained within the drum by reverse flights located at the drum discharge end. Slurry and washed oversize overflows the drum discharge throat to the concentric exit trommels.
